A great and welcoming team that have your wellbeing at heart. James has worked wonders with the information given and his own assessment… to take me from shying from some exercises for fear of setting my back off (or actually setting it off) to now, back to regular exercise, hiking, and even a bit of mountain climbing. Always professional and genuinely wants to see you reach your goals. I would recommend James to anyone hampered by niggles, old injuries or just the pains and strains of getting older.

I see Pam monthly for a sports massage. She is an outstanding sports massage therapist. Her expert use of various techniques has been transformative for me, and she goes the extra mile by teaching me stretches to do daily, which has greatly improved my posture. On top of that, Pam is a joy to be around—she’s easy to connect with, and our conversations make each session enjoyable. I always leave feeling better, both physically and mentally. I also see James periodically to double check all is well with alignment. Again, he is very knowledgeable and approachable and an expert in his field. Highly recommend!

I have only had to use Connective Chiropractic a few times to help with my lower back but each time they completely fix, resolve and take all the pain away. I don’t know how James manages to do what he does but it’s incredible and I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I initially came to James with excruciating pain in my hip. James was able to highlight the issues and began working on relieving the pain immediately. I found him extremely knowledgable and very easy to talk to. I knew straight away I was in the right place… within a short amount of sessions I felt significant improvement and within months I was pain free! – now I can exercise without fear. In addition I also have regular pilates sessions with Pam at the clinic. Pam is also fantastic, v easy to talk to. A great teacher. I feel myself getting stronger every week… Pam also offers sports massage, which really helps increase my mobility and ease any aches and pains from all the exercise, I’m now doing.

In short, James and Pam have given me a new lease of life… Words can’t do justice for how grateful I am for this.

I was suffering niggling pains in my shoulders and neck for a period of time. Nothing major but the low-grade pain was affecting my sleep, but like most men, I shrugged it off for a few months as I went through my cabinet of topical creams (deep heat being my goto) before giving in and seeking help from a professional. After a quick internet search and reading the reviews on their website, Connective Chiropractic seemed to fit the bill.
I booked an initial consultation with the practice and met the owner, James, who discussed my general history, my work and physical activities before moving onto the physical treatment.
From the first time I met James, I was struck by his caring nature, general interest in his patients (mental and physical wellbeing) and the friendly atmosphere of the practice. Importantly, in terms of the care I received, James started to narrow down my skeletal problems and through practiced manipulation started to straighten me out in short order.
Within 3 weeks of seeing James, my shoulder and neck pain reduced significantly, and it wasn’t long before I moved from treatment for the initial pain to a more routine maintenance regime to keep me in good condition.
Valuing the service I receive, I’ve been seeing James for a couple of years now and in that time the business has grown – moved to better premises and employ more staff to offer more services to its clients. James is always upbeat (from what a client gets to see anyhow), friendly and professional and continues to provide me a quality service.

I first saw James for Chiropractic care in 2018, and continue to see James as and when needed, to ensure I keep on top of things. He is professional at all times and always puts me at ease. He takes the time to talk through the adjustments he is making and explains how these work. The adjustments are always effective and help to sort out any issues I am experiencing. I find the online booking system easy to use, but have equally found it easy to contact the clinic by phone or email if I have any queries. I would personally highly recommend James for any chiropractic care needs and have recommended to close friends and family. Definitely a trusted provider of wellbeing services in Basingstoke.

I first visited James after a recommendation from my son. I was having migraines and my neck felt very uncomfortable most of the time. I very quickly felt at ease with James kind and professional manner. Being a healer and energy worker myself it was very important that I found the right person to help me. Not only did James work wonders with my headaches, but he was very happy for me to tune in energetically during my treatments, and showed great respect for my work. To this day James is my go to person for any physical ailments that arise. I feel blessed that we now work in unison during a treatment and I always come away feeling great. I’ve been coming to Connective Chiropractic for over a year now both for massages and mainly chiropractic care. James and the rest of the team are fantastic. I feel well looked after, respected and the whole service is incredibly professional. The team are also kind and easy to talk to, which will help the more nervous clients relax. I cannot fault the service – booking in with them feels like a self-care day; you get offered herbal tea before/after a session, and walking into the beautiful new clinic just creates a sense of calm. I feel noticeably different before and after sessions as I am a general angsty person that keeps tension in my body. Money spent here feels like an investment into myself and I’m really glad I found James and the team.

I cannot put into words how fantastic the team at Connective Chiropractic are. James doesn’t just focus on the obvious issues, he really knows how to dig down into all factors that may have an impact on aches and pains.
I have chronic pain and he has tailored my care plan to best help with me (a complex character!). My husband and I have appointments together and we really enjoy going to see James, even if some of the adjustments are a bit uncomfortable! That said we both always feel so much better after we have been. You won’t regret booking an appointment.

I came to see James over a year ago when my lower back and legs were causing me massive pain and discomfort from my desk job and working from home. I was nervous and concerned about what I would experience because all I knew about the profession was bending people up like pretzels and cracking bones…. I couldn’t be further from the reality with James. He is very personable, friendly but most of all incredibly professional and knowledgeable in his field. He has helped with my pain and discomfort to the point where I see him now for maintenance treatments that can continue or stop at my request. If you’re in pain with joints, muscles etc then don’t wait around.. go see James! I promise it will be a revelation and you thank me!

I started seeing James shortly after the birth of my son 3 years ago. He was able to resolve an episode of acute back pain and I am still visiting for long term maintenance. I look forward to my sessions with him as a time for self care and feel lighter and happier when I leave.

James is a calm, friendly and gentle presence and I would strongly recommend him to anyone. He was able to account for my previous back surgery and treated me through my pregnancy with my second baby.

Wow what an experience!
I have just finished my third treatment with James and I just cannot recommend him enough! After suffering with a niggling back pain for a few years I was finally brave enough to go and get it sorted. I was very anxious as I had seen videos pop up online of people having their necks twisted and yanked BUT it is not this at all! After speaking with James, he allowed me to join in with one of my partners appointments. Here he took the time to explain everything; what he was doing, how it might feel and why he was doing it. This really set my mind at ease. Before my adjustment James took the time to talk to me and get to know me and my background. I was half expecting to get a telling off as I knew I had bad habits, but this was not the case at all! The adjustments were fine and after my first session I felt amazing, not 100% fixed but I could stand tall without the pain. We then discussed a plan moving forwards. James took his time, made sure I was feeling ok and made me feel so relaxed. I highly recommend James he really is brilliant!

I have been working with James since 2019. I initially came with a niggle in my elbow that I needed sorting to continue my Strongwoman training. Since that James has been an integral part of my training and recovery programme by keeping my body in check.

I contacted Connective Chiropractic about a year ago as I had suffered lower back pain for a number of years and done nothing about it. Booked initial consultation and first treatment together with James, who conducted a thorough review of my issues and made recommendations before agreeing to proceed with treatment. James was very good at explaining what he thought was happening and suggested a program of treatment that he thought suitable, again with thorough explanation of what he would do and how it would help. What I really liked about his approach was how I was put in control of my chiropractic journey, unlike the majority of my experience with other health practitioners. I was informed along every step of my treatment, what he was doing and why. James’ treatments are considered, well targeted and expertly delivered. In my case, things didn’t change dramatically after one treatment, but I wasn’t expecting them to. But over the course of four to six months with fortnightly then monthly appointments I was pain free. I’m now on a maintenance program attending once a month for treatment and life is so much happier without the pain and with freer movement. What’s to like about Connective Chiropractic?
