Hannah shares her experience of Connective Chiropractic, Basingstoke.

I’m in the maintenance and wellbeing stage (Stage three)
I came across Chiropractic care at a health and wellbeing festival a few years back. It was something I had never really heard of prior to this.
What were your main fears or drivers before coming to see a Chiropractor?
As a teenager, I was always shy/ashamed of my height. I towered over everyone! Because of this, I was always slumped and hunched over. This constant slump has carried on into my adulthood (luckily with no pain), so my driver to see a Chiropractor was to try and resolve this.
What drew you to Connective Chiropractic?
I believe I had been recommended to see James from another one of his patients. From the website, he seemed approachable and friendly. The price was much better than others I had seen online!

What was it like being a new patient at Connective Chiropractic? (What was the onboarding process like?)
The new patient process was soo simple! It did not feel too formal and I was instantly put to ease.
How would you describe your experience at our Basingstoke Chiropractic clinic so far?
I look forward to seeing James for a catch up while he sorts out my body! Unlike other professionals I have seen over the years, James makes sure that he explains everything he is going to do before he does it. So nothing is a surprise!
Have that first appointment if you think you may need to see a Chiropractor. You do not need to be in pain to need a Chiropractor. When you see James, you are not obliged to book another appointment after. There are no contracts. What have you got to lose?
How would you describe yourself when you first came to see us at Connective Chiropractic? (What were you like before you started Chiropractic care with us?)
When I started seeing James, I was recovering from severe depression. I was in a position where I wanted a fresh start, and wanted to start looking after myself better than I maybe had been during my teens.
How have things changed for you since receiving Chiropractic Care at Connective Chiropractic? (How does Chiropractic help you?)
I have continued to pay more attention to myself, two years after starting to see James. I am more aware of how little habits I had in my teens was contributing to the slump/hunch

What do you hope to achieve by continuing Chiropractic care at Connective Chiropractic?
Other than my monthly catch up with James, I hope to just continue working on my upper frame.
