Understanding your tailored treatment care plan at Connective Chiropractic
When you come in for an initial consultation, or if you haven’t been for a while, we’ll reassess your care plan. This process is completely tailored to you. As part of this consultation process we’ll talk to you about how many sessions we think it will take for you to reach your healthcare goals. We’ll also let you know about the three stages of care and where you are on your voyage with us. Separate from our care plan recommendations we may also be able to discuss methods of payment for your care.
Working to your treatment care plan
Regardless of how you decide to pay for your care, we’ll work in line to the care plan we have initially prepared for you. This care plan is based with taking your individual circumstances, the best available evidence and our expertise in mind.
We’ll discuss with your suggested treatment plan at your formal report of findings session. This is usually at the second appointment you pop in to see us.
In essence, setting our treatment plans separately from any payments means you’ll always receive our best possible care that we can provide. It gives us the flexibility to plan and track more accurately what we are doing and ensure we can have more targeted, evidence-informed conversations about what to expect or the intended outcomes of your care.
Money shouldn’t get in the way of all of this, so we do our best to keep the conversations separate.
Asking us to do more with less might be asking a miracle…
In the past some have asked for us to achieve the same results in fewer visits than we have recommended. Whilst it can sometimes happen that results are noticed quicker than planned (in fact we hope this happens), we have found that in almost all circumstances care quality has been compromised in the pursuit of rushing. It’s just something we aren’t comfortable in doing.
As a result of this, we have made the decision to no longer offer ‘quickie’ care plans: We’d like to get you better, feel better and stay better and our care plan predictions go in line with this.
If you want quick fix solutions that don’t go to the heart of why any ache, pain or restriction is there, we might not be the greatest fit. We are known for helping people out of what holds them back and, wherever possible, then get them to smash their health and lifestyle goals and leave them behind. We like to build a likeminded community of people who are driven to keep themselves away from aches, pains and restrictions whilst achieving more as well as those who just want relief, support and understanding.
Changes from 2026 in how we operate our care plan recommendations: (We put our care plans and your money where our mouth is…)
Before 2026 we used to offer plans for the first two stages of the three stages of care at the same time. What we found however is that our care recommendations needed to be changed more often than not. Whilst this undoubtedly nearly always led to cost savings for the patient, it sometimes diluted how well we could track the benefits of care or review in a way that we could best manage care if relapses occurred. By breaking down our treatment plans into each stage individually we are able to ensure your care is tailored more closely to your needs. We believe it also helps you to decide how best to pay for care with data in mind about whether you are spending your money wisely and whether Chiropractic care is right for you.
Agreeing your Connective Chiropractic treatment care plan
We’ll never force you to take a treatment care plan or payment plan with us. You are free to opt out at any time. However, our recommendations are certainly made with your best interests in mind.
To come up with our treatment care plan predictions we use the best available scientific evidence to inform our decisions. We’ll also take into account your circumstances and our skills set and expertise too.
Should you wish to stop your care with us earlier than expected, please do let us know. Sometimes we can give you a whole raft of extra knowledge to help you best. Moving house? No problem, let us know your new postcode and we’ll even help you find a new Chiropractor closer to home. We are here to help wherever we can.
Affording your treatment care plan
As part of the initial consultation process, we may offer you additional ways to pay for your care plan beyond paying as you go. Should you wish to prebook and prepay for the next stage of your care plan with us in advance, we might provide discounts or instalment pay options at this point. These discounts intend to support you and are not offered to motivate you towards taking care. In line with our company intentions we offer the greatest discounts for customers who have completed their care plans and have joined our ultimate wellbeing community. We do not offer this to new patients.
Our recommendation is to prebook and prepay for your next stage of care…but the choice is entirely yours.
We believe that prebooking and prepaying for your care is the simplest way to navigate your time with us. It helps you not have to worry about having your cards with you every time you come in and ensures you have an appointment reserved with us at a time that suits you best. Speak to our team if this sounds like something you would like to do.
There is some evidence out there to suggest that financial stress and tensions relating to it can affect your healing outcomes, so we are always keen not to be too ‘salesy’ in our process, even if we have to discuss costs in advance so we can all ensure we’re on the same page when it comes to managing your care.
We have designed our clinic to be flexible to your needs. We understand that it may not suit all of our patients to do this (and that’s okay!)
When to decide on how to pay
It is our presumption that everyone should pay as they go for their initial consultation, report of findings and first treatment session so we do not include these in our care plan recommendations or payment recommendations.
We have designed our processes with this presumption in mind to keep things simple and give space for you to decide what is best payment wise. In essence, it allows you to sample chiropractic care before having to make a decision.
Paying for your next stage of care
If you decide not to pay as you go you can purchase your next stage of care in full in advance. Depending on your care needs we might also allow you to pay in instalments or by direct debit. We’ll discuss this with you at your report of findings session should this be appropriate.
Changing adjustment sessions in your care plan
Life happens. As a result, sometimes our care plans have to adapt. This is okay.
You are always free to reschedule your care if needs be, but we urge you to speak with your chiropractor or continue your care until the next review if you think you might not need care. We find that people who stop coming in early on in their care plan are more likely to get relapses: At the least we’ll be able to advise on what we think might be manageable self care tips or tricks to help along the way.
In some circumstances we may appear wrong in our treatment care plan recommendations. More likely reasons for this may include where research is lacking, where care plans are not adhered to or additional health issues arise during a care plan. We hope to pick up on any of these changes at our progress review sessions so that we can reassess how we can help you.
Our Rationale For Care Policy
We only ever give adjustments where there is a clinical rationale for care. So, if we find in any session we don’t need to adjust we will let you know and reschedule your appointment for another time.
In the less likely event that we require further sessions we will offer additional sessions but will let you know in plenty of time. We often have these discussions at our progress review sessions at the end of each stage of care.
What happens if we are unable to offer Chiropractic care in your circumstances or if Chiropractic treatment plans are not appropriate?
We wont discuss a treatment care plan should we consider Chiropractic is not suitable for you or if we feel that it is in your best interests to take a more cautious approach and take each session as it comes.
If we think Chiropractic can not help we will do our best to refer you to a more appropriate practitioner, clinic or treatment.
It is common for us to refer in house to our allied multidisciplinary team, but may also refer externally if required and we are best positioned to do so.
We reserve the right not to offer initial treatment care plan payment offers if we feel that it is not appropriate or if we believe that our pay as you go route is more suitable for you.
Additional questions about your treatment care plan?
We endeavour to be open, transparent and accountable with our pricing structures and care plan recommendations. If you have any questions about where you are on your care plan or your payments, please feel free to contact us. Please note that we are unable to discuss or offer care plans without first having taken an initial consultation.
